The apartment is located in a building that was constructed in 1907. It is on the 6th floor with elevator and has a view of Paris rooftops.
Exposure include South, North and West. The building is in a private courtyard, two streets from the Seine and Isle Saint Louis.
The apartment is very quiet and sunny, the neighborhood very safe.
It is not a large flat (490 sq ft), but it is convenient and pleasant to live.

The quarter of "Le Marais"
"Le Marais" is one of the oldest neighborhoods of Paris, just blocks from "Notre-Dame de Paris", "Le Louvre", "La Bastille", ...
On rue Charlemagne are the ramparts of King Philippe Auguste dating from the 13th century.
The streets surrounding afford all shopping conveniences (bakeries, charcuteries, pharmacies, fruit markets, ...), and the famous antique "Village Saint-Paul" as well as the "Place des Vosges". The area is known to be one of the best shopping (fashion) and art gallery districts.
The area is also very calm and picturesque. It is nice and restful to have a walk on the banks of the Seine or in the old and narrow streets between Saint-Paul and République ...
There are two subway stations (Saint-Paul and Pont-Marie) and several bus lines located in front of the building.
